Accelerated Reader

Many classes at Pershing participate in Accelerated Reader, a reading incentive program developed by Renaissance Learning. The program combines popular literature with computer software that tests comprehension and manages student records. At Pershing our quiz list is extensive and constantly updated to provide students with wonderful books on a wide variety of topics and reading levels.  With approximately  9000 quizzes, it is our goal that every student will find appealing literature to read, and that students will develop a life-long love of reading.
